Bike Servicing Repairs

Servicing & Repairs

For all of your bike servicing & bike repairs

Here at Locks of Sandwich Cycles, we have an extensive workshop where we carry out a wide variety of services. We offer a Standard Service, a General Labour Service and an Alternative Labour Service. Please read on to find out more.

Standard Service

£30.00 plus VAT plus £3.00 consumables.

Includes:- Full nut and bolt check, brake and gear cables checked and oiled internally, gear adjustment, spoke tensions checked and wheels trued, all bearings checked externally, brake pads checked and adjusted.

General Labour Rate

£30.00 plus VAT

This is for work undertaken by us, where we supply the parts required.

Alternative Labour Rate

This is for work undertaken by us but where parts are purchased elsewhere.

Price Matching

As a business, we are aware that saving money is something we all strive to do. Bearing this in mind we are happy to consider price matching (within reason) to parts purchased on the internet. On occasion, this is not financially viable for us but please enter into conversation with us to find out if we can help.

Please Note:

All bikes that are delivered to the shop for servicing must be clean. We reserve the right to refuse bikes that are not for health and safety reasons. Any bikes that require cleaning, by us, before a service can be undertaken will incur a charge for the time it takes us to clean the bike at our General Labour Rate (see above).

Shop Update

Open by appointment only

With Regret, our shop is now closed and will only be open by appointment only, for our own safety and our customers. Although we feel a commitment to help people whom are still cycling, we feel we are encouraging cyclists into Sandwich town and don't want to be party to the spread on this dreadful virus.

If you need parts or a bike, I will be visiting the shop on my daily exercise ride. Please contact us through social media, email or answer phone and we can arrange an appointment.
Hope to be back and fully open when it is safe to do so.
Thanks for all your support, Andy and team.
